Employment Information:

The Columbine Valley Police Department does not have any full time openings.  We are always accepting applications and keep them on file for a period of 1 year. 

We are currently accepting applications for Reserve Officer Positions.  Reserve officers are required to complete a full Field Training Program and are then assigned solo patrol duties.  They are required to work 10 hours per month in addition to attending mandatory training.

Employee Benefits:          

Salary-(Full Time)      $37000.00 to $47000.00
Salary- (Part Time) $18.50 per hour
Vacation- Accumulated Vacation, Holiday, Sick days=256 hours
Health Insurance- 100% employee and 75% family
  Cafeteria Plan
Retirement- FPPA
Uniform- Provided by employer
Schedule- Four 10 hour shifts per week or Five 8 hour shifts per week
Training- 120 hours of in-service training per year

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.
Colorado P.O.S.T Certified
Live within 10 miles of Columbine Valley (full time only)
No Felony Convictions and pass a background investigation
Vision correctable to 20/20
