We are changing the way that we communicate information with our residents. Starting this week we will be sending out information such as crime notices and scam alerts via Twitter. This will streamline the notification process and will allow each of you to determine if and when they receive alerts. This will also make it possible for Officers to send out notices immediately from their vehicles. These messages can be received via computer, mobile phone app or text messaging. There are numerous apps and widgets available for free download on the internet and the notification process is almost instantaneous.
A link has been provided at the bottom of this page. The website will also provide a list of all messages that have been previously sent.
Please keep in mind that this account is not actively monitored and we will not respond to messages or calls for service. All calls for service should go through routine procedures.
